Meet the first Nigerian Model to walk for Louis Vuitton

A 16-year-old lady has made history as the first Nigerian to walk the runway for world famous luxury fashion brand, Louis Vuitton also popularly known as LV.

Janet Jumbo walked down the runway during LV’s Women’s Fall-Winter 2019 Fashion Show at the Louvre in Paris. Her model management agency announced on Instagram by posting

“Today, Janet Jumbo is the first Nigerian model to walk the Louis Vuitton show exclusively. We feel nothing but all shades of happiness and we can’t contain it.”

Her journey to the runway started when she was spotted by a scout on her way back from church on a Sunday in Lagos Nigeria.

Wow, what an awesome testimony. You go girl.
